In 2017, two school friends, Jean-Baptiste & Romain, chose to modernize the "fait maison" pâté in its original form, created by Les Conservistes.

Eager to revisit the established codes of artisanal gastronomy, they come together around two complementary visions. Making the "pâté glamorous", while preserving a traditional know-how, inherited from their roots in the South-West. In 2019, Les Conservistes expanded and welcomed Yohan, a school friend and fervent supporter of the table and its pleasures.

Welcome to the surprising world of Les Conservistes.
The vision of the project : a traditional vision of canning, and an avant-garde spirit, this is the foundation of this great adventure. "Les Conservistes": a tasty blend of tradition: "Les Conservateurs", and modernism "Les Progressistes". Today, the descendants of the 6th and 7th generation of the Malnou family grow their peppers in the middle of vineyards, orchards and peasant crops, under the spray of the Gave de Pau and the benevolent gaze of the Pyrenees. The pepper owes its characteristics of course to the terroir of this South-West where it grows, but also and above all to the maturing to which it is subjected for long weeks allowing the pepper to preserve all its organoleptic qualities. Behind the colors, the names and the aesthetics of our boxes, are passionate, sensitive and committed women and men. Cyril, 8th generation, took up the torch with the support of his wife Julie, to perpetuate the family tradition while infusing their personalities with a burst of renewal on the farm: "Armagnac is Back", an opening to the future, full of promise. This ancestral breed of pig owes its name to the heir to the throne of England, Prince of Aquitaine in 1362. Nicknamed the Black Prince for his warlike and bloodthirsty penchant, legend has it that one evening during a crusade, Edward of Woodstock stopped off at a Landes stable. Recognizing the taste qualities of the pigs on this farm, he had the idea of bringing boars from England (breeding males) in order to cross them with this Gascon strain. This is how, on the lands of Aquitaine, he gave birth to a new breed that he would proudly name: The Black Prince of Biscay (Gascony in English) whose strength and quality combined, produce a unique and precious meat. Nestled in the heart of Chalosse, the Brougnon farm has witnessed the passage of 5 generations. Today, Romain & Lucie Larrieu continue to perpetuate know-how and tradition with the sole aim of achieving excellence. In a commitment and responsible approach, they raise ducks outdoors, respecting the animal condition, and feed them with corn produced directly on the farm.
