Carlos Castro Serantes works his vines high up in the Rias Baixas in Spain, only 8km from the Atlantic Ocean. The grapes are grown in arbours to provide shelter from the sun and improve airflow - something rarely seen these days. He farms biodynamically on terraces with minimum human intervention.

Albarino has gained its place in recent years as a grape variety that produces fresh and fruity wines that are both easy to drink as well as possessing layers of complexity. This one ticks all our boxes - extremely good balance between fruit and minerality.

The wine is chemical free and the grapes are harvested by hand and selected on the sorting table so only the very best go into the bottle.

Aromatic, mineral expression with white flowers, fresh almond and a  light citrus palate with plenty of apple, lime and peach. Fresh and fruity, easy to drink, clean and balanced.
