Soup’idéale was born in the early sixties. The first pasteurized soups were made in a garage on the outskirts of Boulogne-sur-Mer by the Legros family. The first recipes were limited to making artisanal fish soups. Thirty years later, Soup’idéale took over the management of the Arrageois vegetable basin in order to be able to meet ever greater demand. It was then that the Boulogne-based company gradually made its transition to the industrial era. In 2006, in order to meet the demand of hospital customers, Soup'ideale developed a range of fresh soups enriched with proteins. It also develops its first organic recipes for collective catering. Soup’idéale was first certified as an International Food standard in 2009. This certification guarantees the quality of its products, produced in accordance with procedures.
