Carried by a beautiful ripe fruit and the toasted and vanilla notes of the ageing, this crisp and well-structured wine is also displayed with great elegance and harmony. A very good representative of its appellation, which can be discovered with simmered or grilled red meat.
Ch. Beauregard: The winemaker
Commanded by a superb seventeenth-century charterhouse, Beauregard has 17.5 ha of vines on the south-eastern edge of the plateau of Catusseau, supplemented by 11 ha in lalande (Pavillon Beauregard), managed in organic farming. A very regular vintage, the management of which is entrusted to Vincent Priou. Owned by Crédit Foncier since 1991, it was sold in July 2014 to the Moulin (Galeries Lafayette group) and Cathiard (Ch. Smith Haut Lafitte) families. A new vat room has been set up, organic farming adopted.
